How did you meet?
We were introduced by my brother, Zinzan use to see me walking to school everyday and told himself, one day he would marry Helen Wilson and always believed it.
How did he propose?
Nothing flash, I noticed him sweating profusely while we were sitting at home and whatever speech he had planned was ruined by our kids who were running around playing tag. It was a Valentines Day Proposal.
Big Day Planning
Describe you wedding look in 3 words: Pacific, Traditional, Summery
How did you decide on your Eveni Pacific/Koko Pacific bridal party outfits? We had always planned to get the mens attire from Eveni, so they were sorted. However, I had a disaster of a seamstress here in NZ who had no bridesmaids dresses made or my wedding dress 2 weeks out from the wedding. I then remembered that I always wanted to buy an Eveni dress for myself, and thought maybe they would be great to have them as bridemaids dresses; and considering the heat and our setting it would be the perfect. So I messaged the team at Eveni in NZ who put me in contact with Hether in Samoa who went above and beyond to save our wedding day! The boys looked so handsome on the day, but my girls looked absolutely stunning, I received a lot of compliments about all the outfits and the groomsmen and bridesmaids would be able to wear them again.
What was the most stressful part in planning?
My biggest stress were the dresses and having the wedding overseas was hard as I had to depend on emails to coordinate everything.
Any top wedding prep advice you could give?
Don't worry about everyone else's opinion, Its your wedding. Keep anything and everyone negative away from you, because you are in a highly stressful situation and you don't need that. This is a significant occasion that only happens once in your life.
The Big Day
Funniest moment on the day was...When Zinzan thought they had lost the wedding rings, I had no idea that this happened til after the wedding even though I told him the day before not to lose the rings as a joke.

Any tears? I tried not to look at anyone because they were all crying lol Zinzan and my son L.A cried
Any last advice or words of wisdom? We never rushed in to marriage, we waited for the right time and we're glad we did, It was many, many years in the making. We were in love going into it and have set ourselves up for a blissful future... We are very much looking forward to growing old together as Husband and Wife.
